Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude toubia is a Canadian Actress best known as a main character in the Freeform Fantasy Series Shadowhunters and Venevision Television series Cosita linda & Voltea pa' que te enamores. Model and dancer by profession, Toubia has also achieved the success she has achieved in both areas. As a Montreal born native, she grew up in Texas and was always fascinated by dancing. When she was a young girl, she began training in various forms of dance. When she was 15 years old, she was participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a hit when she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant series. In an episode of Telemundo's Telenovela Aurora In the episode, she portrayed the role of a receptionist. In 2015, she was in her debut feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love. Toubia was recognized for her performance on Shadowhunters, Toubia was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi in 2017. She also won in 2018.
